For her first overseas visit as First Lady, Melania Trump departed the White House (with her husband President Donald Trump) in style wearing a creme Max Mara sweater, which she teamed with an orange Hervé Pierre leather skirt and Manolo Blahnik stilettos.

Upon her arrival to Saudi Arabia, Melania was greeted with a welcome ceremony and arrangement from young girls. The first lady disembarked Air Force One wearing a black jumpsuit by Stella McCartney, which she accessorised with a gold python belt from Saint Laurent. Arab News praised the first lady's style calling her outfit choices "classy and conservative."

The first lady chatted with Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz al-Saud at a ceremony where President Donald Trump received the Order of Abdulaziz al-Saud medal from Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud at the Saudi Royal Court in Riyadh.

Following her visit, the mum-of-one tweeted, "Thank U American International School #Riyadh for hosting me today! Giving Intl perspective & education to children is so important."

The president's wife paid a visit to the GE All-Women Business Process Services and IT Centre in Riyadh. Recalling her outing to the first all-women process service center, Melania posted, "Enjoyed talking to the incredible women working hard @GE_Saudi service center. Great strides being made towards the empowerment of women."

First Lady Melania Trump looked stunning in an ethereal light blue dress as she prepared to board Air Force One in Riyadh to head to Israel with her husband.

The First Lady of the United States was accompanied by Sara Netanyahu, the wife of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to a a leading Israeli hospital that is also known as a center of coexistence between Arabs and Jews. "Hi, how are you?" Melania asked the children. "What are you doing here? Are you making a project?" The former model handed out White House backpacks filled with goodies telling the kids, “You can do a lot of projects, color and read and write letters.”
The president’s wife also turned to a boy with a Mickey Mouse balloon and said "I like your Mickey Mouse." Following the visit, Melania shared a photo from her outing, writing, “So enjoyed my visit to the Hadassah Medical Center with Mrs. Netanyahu. The children had such open hearts, strong spirits & inquisitive minds, which I know will help in their healing.”

Melania shared a laugh with Sara Netanyahu before their official dinner in Jerusalem on 22 May. The two women have bonded during the Trumps' visit abroad. Earlier in the day the prime minister's wife told the first lady, "You know in Israel all the people like us. The media hate us but the people love us. Like you," to which Melania replied, "We have a lot in common."

The first couple laid a wreath during their visit to the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial museum in Jerusalem where they commemorated the six million Jews killed by the Nazis during World War II. Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump joined the president and first couple.
