The All of Me singer received the Best Play Revival for his work on Jitney, where he served as executive producer. Taking to Twitter, Chrissy wrote: "John won a Tony!!! He has a GOT," referencing that the star now had a Grammy, Oscar and a Tony.

The star now needs an Emmy award to achieve an 'EGOT', which only 12 people have so far accomplished. Fans were quick to praise John's amazing achievement, with one joking: "You’ve a-GOT to be kidding me," while another added: "GET HIM ON A TV SHOW REAL FAST!" The Lip Synch Battle host tweeted throughout the day on the way to the Tony Awards, joking that she was a Broadway star.

She then faked outrage after sharing a snap of her seat in the audience, which was pushed down, adding: "WHY HAS MY SEAT RECENTLY BEEN SAT IN?! As one of Broadway's biggest stars on Broadway's biggest nights I am appalled." The mum-of-one also responded to a Twitter user who claimed the star "shows up for anything" in reference to the Tony Awards, writing: "Yes if my partner of 10 years is nominated, I will show up with him, you witch."

The couple's baby daughter, Luna, was absent for the award show, but the pair regularly share snaps and videos of the one-year-old on Instagram. In a recent post, the little girl is asked who is on the cover of Time magazine. Pointing to the copy while sitting on her dad’s lap, she repeats: "Dada," as John chuckles in the background. Captioning the picture, John wrote: "Luna likes the new #Time100 cover!"
