Jamie Oliver is the proud dad to five children with his wife Jools, so it's safe to say the celebrity chef knows a thing or two about fatherhood. The TV star regularly shares photos of his brood on Instagram, of Poppy Honey, 15, Daisy Boo, 14, Petal Blossom, eight, Buddy Bear, six, and baby River Rocket, who turns one in August.
It's clear that his family are his priority, and when he is away from home, Jamie regularly lets fans know that he's missing his wife and children. Jamie recently admitted to HELLO! Online that he has always followed a strict schedule to balance work with his home life.
"Since Poppy was born, I just have to start at five, finish at 10 at night, Monday to Friday," said Jamie, 42. "I have my structured holidays, my structured weekends, and I try to be a good boss and a good dad." Another tip from the food guru? "If you want to do lots of things well, surround yourself by amazing women, end of story!" he said.

Jamie's pride clearly shone through when he and his wife Jools welcomed their fifth child in August 2016. The restaurateur, who appeared to have kept his baby's sex a surprise, excitedly wrote on Instagram: "And then this just happened guys!! IT'S A BABY BOY!! Everyone in the Oliver family is very surprised and beyond happy."
Jamie went on to praise his wife and his two eldest girls, Poppy and Daisy, who were present at the birth. "He arrived safely, mum @joolsoliver was really really amazing, unbelievably composed, natural birth and my two eldest girls got to come in at the very end as the baby was born which was amazing to witness very very emotional," wrote Jamie.
"8 lbs (that's 16 packs of butter for you bakers out there) anyway we're all hitting the hay it's been a long day big love... bless a little baby boy Woop Woop!!!! And love to all you mums out there how amazing you are it blows my mind.... Big love jamie o p.s no baby names yet........"
Three weeks later, and after much speculation from fans, Jamie made the big reveal, telling his followers that he and wife Jools had decided to name their youngest child, River Rocket Oliver.
"Wow what a hot day today guys," he wrote. "So the littlest one is stared out and sleeping again.....it's probably polite to formally introduce the new boy to you, his name's River Rocket Oliver we think it suits him and he's a little gift and we are all very happy.... Thanks for all your kind wishes big love jamie and gang X X X."
River's first proper smile was also another occasion to celebrate, as Jamie took to Instagram to post: "Smile haha River's first proper smile ? Brilliant who knows what's going through his head but I like it. Big love guys have a good day I send you a smile with love joxxx."
In this digital age, Jamie has been documenting baby River's milestones on his social media accounts. One particularly sweet snap showed River having his first bath.
"Sweet little fella, 8 days old, I can never get over how small they are, his hands are as big as my thumb.... he wouldn't let go as he had his first proper bath..... All good making the most of time with the family before I go back to work soon. Big love JO X," wrote the TV chef.
Spending time in the kitchen is, naturally, inevitable in the Oliver household. Jamie is often pictured multi-tasking, cooking with his children or showing a tiny River the ropes.
"Gotta start them young!..... bless baby River he's so fascinated by the cooking," Jamie wrote.
Like other children, the Oliver youngsters are not immune to embarrassing dad moments! One year, Jamie went as far as to dress up as a Stormtrooper on May 4.
He captioned the throwback snap: "#TBT to when I walked the girls to school like this haha embarrassing Dad!! May the fourth be with you!! #starwarsday."
Of course, holidays and family moments are a highlight on Jamie's Instagram feed. At Christmas, the doting dad posed with all of the Olivers, sending his best wishes from himself and "the clan".
"Merry merry Christmas from me and the clan, I hope all your lovely cooking goes well today full of love and joy ...... get in there .... big love to all my friends and family x x x x x x x," wrote Jamie.
At Easter, Jamie treated his fans to another gorgeous family portrait, also thanking his followers for their continued messages of positivity.
The cookbook author wrote: "Happy Easter to all you lovely people, I really hope you have a wonderful day, From me and my clan here we send lotsa love to all my family who are scattered all around the world, to all my amazing friends which I never see enough of but we love you guys, to all my fantastic teams I have the great pleasure to work with...xxx...and YYOU!!

Birthdays are clearly big in the Oliver household. As a mum-of-five, it's clear Jools is showered with love every day, but especially on her birthday. On her 42nd birthday last year, Jamie revealed that his wife likes to celebrate early and stretch out her special day.
"Pre Birthday Cake for my @joolsoliver she's 42 tomorrow.. woop woop !!she likes to stretch out the birthday proceedings these day so we start early bless her," he wrote.
The celebrity chef followed it up with a sweet photo of Jools and River on Jools' actual birthday, posting: "Happy birthday Mrs Oliver!! 42 today girl!! Jeeze where did all that time go since we first met, Hope you had a great day babe, love you and of course the dude that is baby River Oliver. Xxx."
The dedicated dad never fails to mark his childrens' birthdays on social media. On his daughter Poppy's 15th birthday, Jamie celebrated the day he became a first-time father by uploading a throwback photo.
"Today 15 years ago this happened!" Jamie posted. "Best day of my life! Happy Birthday Poppy Oliver! What a beautiful person you have grown into. I'm so proud of you and the woman you have become big love and have a fantastic day daddy xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx."
When he's away from his wife and children, Jamie doesn't mind letting fans know he's missing his brood. "Missing these little people and you @joolsoliver big love jox x," he captioned one photo of his children sitting at the dining table after school. When he does return home, Jamie is quick to share photos of his family reunions.
With such a busy schedule, Jamie grabs the opportunity to spend his downtime with his family. He regularly posts photos with his children on Fridays, wishing his followers a happy weekend. Jamie also captioned this snap: "Just hanging out with the lads .... happy Sunday guys xxxx."
