Legendary rocker Sir Rod Stewart and Lady Stewart – better known as Loose Women star Penny Lancaster – have celebrated ten years of marriage by renewing their wedding vows, HELLO! online can exclusively reveal. The intimate ceremony, attended by around 100 family and friends, took place in the grounds of their 18th-century Essex home.
Speaking to HELLO!, Penny, 46, says of the celebration: "Being able to reflect on those ten years, and say those words to one another and still know we mean them is important. This felt more special. You get married with the hope that you'll be together; when we renewed our vows, we said them not with just hope, but with a reassurance. Along with hope, there is also faith, love and bringing all the family together."

"Penny is my whole world," Sir Rod, 72, tells HELLO!. "Love means many things to many people but to me it’s wanting to share everything with the one you love and I love Penny now more than ever, if that is at all possible." Taking part in the ceremony, in which they exchanged the same traditional vows as they had ten years ago, were the couple’s two sons, Alastair, 11, and six-year-old Aiden, who passed wedding bands to their parents. Penny’s cavapoo dog Bubbles walked her down the aisle and sat at her feet.
The couple have been together for 18 years, tying the knot in 2007 in a medieval monastery in Portofino, Italy. Many of the same friends and family who attended that wedding – including the priest who presided over both ceremonies – were on hand to celebrate the second time around as they watched the intimate service, which took place by a beech tree in the couple’s garden, with Sir Rod and Lady Stewart both dressed in white. Then followed a three-course meal served in a marquee in the grounds and dancing until the early hours.
