Preparations are well underway for the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and it is thought that the loved-up couple have decided to employ the popular company Table Talk to cater their evening reception. Although Kensington Palace is yet to confirm the news, the catering firm is a royal favourite, and was previously used by Prince William and Kate for their wedding in 2011, and by Kate's sister Pippa Middleton in May 2017.

Meghan spent Christmas with the royal family

Harry and Meghan are due to tie the knot on 19 May at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle, which has been described as a "very special place" for Harry. The Archbishop of Canterbury has praised the couple's decision to have a church wedding, telling BBC Radio 4's Today programme: "I am very, very sure after conversations that this is no tick-box exercise, 'We ought to get married in a church'. There is a profound sense of commitment, of seriousness, both about faith and their lives together, which is quite inspirational. It's important because people look at it and see a model of how two people commit their lives to one another before God in the presence of millions of people."

Meghan and Harry announced their engagement in November

Meghan recently spent Christmas Day with Prince Harry and his family, and attended the church service at Sandringham along with the Queen, her future father-in-law Prince Charles and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The former Suits actress was spotted curtsying to the monarch when she greeted her outside the church of St. Mary Magdalene on Christmas Day. She looked stunning in a brown hat, matching brown boots and carrying a Chloe 'Pixie' bag. Speaking about having Meghan with him for Christmas while a guest editor on BBC Radio 4's Today programme, Harry said: "The family loved having her there. We had an amazing time staying with my brother and sister-in-law and running around with the kids, it's the family she's never had."
