Louise Redknapp is ready for the next chapter. The singer has taken to Instagram to share her first post of 2018 – and the first post since her divorce from husband Jamie Redknapp was finalised. And followers were quick to notice that she had removed her wedding ring in the short video. Louise, 43, uploaded the new clip on Monday night to promote her fashion blog's YouTube channel. In it, she can be seen joking around with her stylist friend Emma Thatcher as the pair announced the launch of their new channel, which will see the pair discuss all things beauty, fashion and interiors. At one point, Louise can be seen giggling as she pulls her roll neck jumper up over her mouth, her ring-free hand clearly visible.

The former Strictly star was first seen without her wedding ring on New Year's Eve when she performed at London's nightclub G-A-Y – just two days after her divorce from Jamie was finalised. The couple's 19-year marriage was dissolved in 20 seconds at London's Family Court on 29 December; neither were present when the decree nisi was granted. Louise and Jamie are parents to two sons, Charley, 13, and nine-year-old Beau. Official paperwork showed that it was Louise who had filed for divorce, citing 44-year-old Jamie's "unreasonable behaviour".

Following her successful stint on last year's Strictly, the singer said she had finally found the confidence to relaunch her career and be something other than a "Stepford wife". "I have spent most of my life pleasing everyone else, worrying about being judged and thinking I should always do the right thing by staying at home, looking after my kids and my husband. I lost myself," she the Telegraph's Stella magazine. "I became a sort of Stepford Wife, wanting to be perfect at it. It was only when I agreed to do Strictly Come Dancing that I realised I couldn’t just go back to that."
