She had her own website
After her birth, Jay-Z and Beyonce set up a website just for Blue Ivy to share snaps of their newborn baby. Alongside photos of themselves with baby Blue, the proud parents wrote: "We welcome you to share in our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives."

She wore a £8,300 dress to the VMAs
Little Blue Ivy made her red carpet debut with her mum at the MTV VMA music awards in August 2016. She dressed in a glittery gown with a long tutu train, ornately embellished bodice and flowery waist, which was worth an incredible $11k (£8,300), made by children's designer Mischka Aoki at Bergdorf Goodman.
She joined her mum on stage
Jay-Z took Blue Ivy on stage to congratulate her mum after her performance at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards. Beyonce looked visibly moved as she smiled at her daughter, who was also spotted dancing along to her mum's performance, much to the amusement of her dad.
She became a big sister
Blue Ivy was delighted to get a little brother and sister in 2017 after Beyonce gave birth to twins. Blue's grandmother, Tina Knowles, opened up to Entertainment Tonight about how she has taken to her role as a big sister, explaining: "She's very proud and excited. She's a good big sister, she really is. She cares for them a lot."
She's travelled the world
Blue Ivy has already travelled around the world, and celebrated her third birthday in Thailand. She also went on tour with the Best Thing I Never Had singer when she was just 19-months-old. Speaking about taking her on the trip, Beyonce said: "It's really interesting because I'm touring with my daughter for the first time and my dream has always been to be able to balance my life and my career. I think it's the one thing that women struggle with because it's so difficult."
Her name is trademarked
Not all five-year-olds have their names trademarked, but Blue Ivy is the exception! Jay-Z opened up about their decision to trademark her name, explaining to Vanity Fair: "People wanted to make products based on our child's name and you don't want anybody trying to benefit off your baby's name. It wasn't for us to do anything; as you see, we haven't done anything."
She starred in her mum's music video
Blue starred in her mum's music video for Formation. Dressed in a white frilly dress, the little girl played with her friends and giggled to the camera in the video, and looked the spitting image of her famous mum! She also most recently starred in her dad's music video for Family Feud, where a grown-up version of her becomes President and is surrounded by inspirational women including Mindy Kaling and Rosario Dawson.
She's already a recording artist
The internet went wild when it was revealed that Blue Ivy freestyled in a song called Blue's Freestyle/We Family on Jay-Z's 4:44 album. She rapped: "Never seen a ceiling in my whole life.. Boom shakalaka, boom shakalaka. Everything in shaka, everything in faka." She also had a credit in her dad's song Glory as she can be heard crying on the track, which was released just two days after her birth.
