Honey G ditched her signature style for an incredible makeover as she took part in Celebrity 100% Hotter this week. The X Factor rapper looked unrecognisable after removing her trademark tracksuit, baseball cap and sunglasses, and wowed viewers as she embraced a new feminine look, featuring long, dark hair extensions and smoky eye make-up. Speaking on the show, Honey – real name Anna Georgette Gilford – admitted she was scared about losing her identity if she changed her appearance. "I never leave the house without sunglasses. I wear my sunglasses in the rain, of course I do. I take my image very seriously, so I expect they'll have a challenge on their hands because I'm not easily impressed. Sometimes my friends say, 'I want to see Anna now, not Honey G'. I feel like now, after X Factor, I'm more Honey G and not Anna."

Despite her initial reservations, the 36-year-old star appeared happy with her new look. "I feel confident now," she admitted. "I don't know what to say. I really don't." Fans quickly took to Twitter to compliment Honey on her transformation, with Boy George remarking: "How much better does Honey G look. Sack the glasses." Fellow X Factor star Sam Bailey tweeted: "She looks amazing!!! Keep that look girl!"

Honey G found fame on The X Factor in 2016, when she won over the judges and viewers with her rapping style. Despite not winning the show – Matt Terry was crowned the eventual winner – she did go on to release her debut track, The Honey G Show.
