Fearne Cotton took to Instagram this week to celebrate her parents' 41st wedding anniversary. And fans couldn't help but notice the extraordinary similarities between the star and her mother, Lyn. The throwback image shows Fearne's mum and dad Mick stood side-by-side and smiling for the camera. Alongside the snapshot, she wrote: "Happy anniversary ma and pa! 41 years of marriage! An achievement to say the least. Hoping you still have these groovy tops somewhere?" The post was quickly inundated with messages of congratulations for the couple on their milestone – although followers were also struck by the strong resemblance between mother and daughter. "Oh my god, you are your mother's daughter!”"one wrote, while another remarked: "You are the absolute double of your mum!" A third added: "Ha ha I thought it was you in 80s style fancy dress! You really look like your mum!"

Fearne is Mick and Lyn's oldest child; she also has a younger brother named Jamie. Mick works as a sign writer, while her mum is an alternative therapist. The Celebrity Juice panellist, 36, is now a mother herself; she shares two children with her husband Jesse Wood, son of Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood – Rex, four, and two-year-old Honey. Fearne is also a step-mother to Jesse's children Arthur and Lola.
In an interview with the Daily Mail in 2016, Fearne admitted she has met her match in son Rex. "Rex is so strong-willed and intense. He's just like me," she revealed. "He knows what he wants and won't be distracted. Honey is chilled and barely makes a noise; she has inherited Jesse's easy-going approach. As a family it all balances out."

Fearne also spoke about her family home in Richmond, admitting that as a Virgo she cannot go to bed until every last dish has been washed, dried and put away. But that's nothing compared to best friend Holly Willoughby. "My house is clean but lived in," she said. "Holly's pristine home, on the other hand, gleams like a showroom and I swear she uses nail scissors on the lawn! We have a muddy mess because of football and lots of our furniture is vintage and mismatched, but it suits our family, the way we live, and it tells a story. Perfection isn't something I have even striven for. It's not a realistic goal."
