Kate Hudson is one proud mother! The Bride Wars actress took to her Instagram page to share a rare picture of her eldest son Ryder in honour of his 14th birthday. In the caption, she gushed: "And then he turned 14... but always my baby." The mum-of-two, who shares Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson, added: "Cried twice today already. You feeling me parents?! Where does the time go? Ryder Robinson, you are one spectacular young man and I am one proud Mama! Happy Birthday sweetheart @mr.ryderrobinson."

Kate, who first became a parent at the age of 25 when she welcomed Ryder, went on to open up about the conflict between being at home with her children, and working on films shoots to build on her career. "Even though every primal ounce of the nurturing, domestic woman in me gets pulled, I'm a hunter as well," she added. "And I love to hunt! And as a woman I feel that somehow we are supposed to feel apologetic about wanting both."
