Alison Hammond has opened up to HELLO! about her now-iconic interview with Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford for their new film, Blade Runner 2049. In the interview, with has reached over seven million views on YouTube since October, the vivacious interviewer ended up drinking whiskey with the Hollywood stars, both of whom were deeply amused by the bubbly TV star.

However, Alison admitted that she did have one regret from the encounter, telling HELLO!: "I didn't make much of an effort with my appearance that day and I can't believe, of all the interviews that I've done in 16 years, that's that the interview that went viral. You just never know do you!" She also revealed that she was "embarrassed" to admit that she hadn't seen their film when Ryan asked her about it. Laughing, she said: "I couldn't believe I was saying it!"

She continued: "I thought, 'I can either lie which will come across really bad or just tell the truth!' My mum always says, you know, be true to yourself in everything you do, so I just told them the truth." The brilliant mum-of-one added that she thought the interview wouldn't even air on This Morning since they hardly discussed the film, adding: "I just thought, 'I don't think this is going to get on air. We've not got any content about the film.'"

Alison has interviewed stars including Hugh Jackman, Harry Styles and Dwayne Johnson, and also gave tips on how to chat to A-listers. "Just be yourself," she advised. "Ask the questions you're genuinely interested in. And smile. A smile goes a long way.
