Fans of Game of Thrones will know that on-screen sisters Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner are very close in real life, even affectionately referring to their friendship as 'Mophie'. But according to Maisie, their bond has now reached a whole new level with Sophie asking the actress to be a bridesmaid at her upcoming wedding to Joe Jonas.The Early Man star confirmed the exciting news during an interview with Radio Times. When asked whether she is going to be involved in Sophie's wedding, she said: "Oh, already got it. Yeah, it's very, very exciting. It's kind of bizarre though." Speaking about planning the big day with Sophie, she added: "We're waiting 'til this season's done until we get into it. But I think she's already letting her little heart wander and imagine."

Fans of the pair were quick to discuss the exciting news, with one writing: "Awwww they are such besties. I wish Sophie Turner a happy and healthy marriage. Joe Jonas is lucky to have such a wonderful woman as his future wife," while another added: "I love everything about this." Joe's brother, Nick Jonas, has previously opened up about whether he would act as best man with their brothers, Kevin and Frankie, saying: "I think my brother Kevin, when he got married, he had all of us be the best men. That's kind of the diplomatic approach, but I don't know. It's up to him."

Sophie and Joe announced their engagement back in October by posting snaps of her stunning ring, each writing that the actress had "said yes". Speaking about their relationship in an interview with Marie Claire, Sophie said she was "very happy", but added that she didn't enjoy the media attention. "You do feel like you’re living in a fishbowl," she explained. "It's frustrating [that] it's the most mundane things that make the news - how boring!"
