Jessie J has judged a number of reality singing shows in the past, including The Voice UK - and she clearly isn't afraid to compete in them either! The pop star recently won the hit Chinese show Singer, in which already well-known stars perform against one another, and brought the house down with an incredible rendition of Whitney Houston's I Have Nothing. Speaking about why she chose the song, she explained: "Unfortunately I was in the same hotel when she passed and I want the Chinese audience and everyone else who is going to see it around the world to know, one how much I love Whitney Houston and two, to see how hard I push myself vocally."
Speaking about taking part in the show to The Straits Times, she said: "There's nothing I can't do. That's how I feel in my heart…I'm turning 30 this year and I just think, why not? It's an experience I'll never forget and may never get again and I'm gonna sing like I've never sung before."

Jessie posted a series of videos and photos from her time on the show in an emotional tribute to Whitney Houston on her Instagram. She wrote: "You are the reason I started to sing. When I heard I Will Always Love You when I was four years old. My life changed forever. You are everything. The best to ever do it. No one can ever come close. More than anything, I hope I did you proud. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me believe in me. It’s taken me 25 years to find the courage to sing this whole song on stage. It was one of the most unforgettable and special moments of my life... It happened because of you."
