David Walliams shared a fun snap of the Britain's Got Talent gang, including Simon Cowell, Ant and Dec, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden, riding on the London Underground. He captioned the candid photo: "On the tube with the @bgt gang." Fans were quick to discuss the picture, with one writing: "I'm an American and I've been living in London for a month. I have taken the Tube every day and the day I don't take it YOU ALL DECIDE TO!"

Others poked fun at Simon's disgruntled expression, joking that the star clearly wasn't enjoying the journey as much as his co-stars. One person wrote: "Simon went on public transport? How did he cope with that," while a second joked: "Simon looks thrilled at being on the tube!" Another person replied complimenting Ant on his flat cap, writing: "Can't for the next BGT, looking good, loving the cap." Ant looked to be in good spirits in the snap, following a difficult few months; the presenter entered rehab in 2017 due to a painkiller addiction, and announced his split from his wife of nine years, Lisa Armstrong, in early January.

Speaking about his year at the National Television Awards, Ant said: "I'm emotional, very emotional. Because of the last 12 months what I've been through, winning this award is particularly emotional for me." He added to The Sun: "It's been emotional to say the least, I'll use that word again. I've had a very tricky year, but you know it's great to get back to work and we loved the last series of I'm a Celebrity and we're currently shooting stuff for Britain's Got Talent and Takeaway. I'm back in the swing of things so it's really good."
