Celebrity couples who are celebrating Valentine's Day for the very first time

Rio and Kate have been together for a few months now, and Rio said that he and his three children that he shares with his late wife, Rebecca, are the "happiest they've been" after her tragic death in 2015. 

On This Morning, he said: "I'm really happy now, the kids are really happy, it's the happiest they've been. I'm in a relationship and it's going well. My kids deserve to be happy, they've had tragedy for the last few years of their lives."

Lady Gaga and Christian Carino 

Lady Gaga and Hollywood agent Christian Carino have been dating since early 2017, so this Valentine's Day will be a special one for the pair of them! The pair, who are rumoured to be engaged, hit it off agyer the Edge of Glory broke off her engagement from Taylor Kinney.

Perrie Edwards and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

The Little Mix singer and Arsenal footballer have been smitten since February 2017, and Perrie showed her affection towards him with a sweet birthday post, which read: "Happy birthday my love. 24! If I can wake up to this for the rest of my life that would be wonderful."

Sam Smith and Brandon Flynn 

Sam confirmed that he was in a relationship in September 2017, and speaking to V Magazine, he said: "On a personal level, I'm in a relationship right now and for the first time, I think I deserve to be happy. I'm actually asking myself if I'm going to be writing some happy love songs soon."

Brooklyn Beckham and Chloe Moretz

Brooklyn and Chloe have an on and off relationship, and  appeared to reconcile after posting loved-up snaps of each other on Instagram from August 2017. Since this is their very first Valentine's Day since their fresh start, we hope they celebrate!

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez

The pair first got together in February 2017, so will probably make their first proper Valentine's Day this year something special! Speaking about their first date, Jennifer told Vanity Fair: "He was sitting there in his white shirt, very confident and manly, but then he was just so talkative! I think he thought I was going to be this loud person, but I’m not. I just listen... I don’t know if he thought it was a date. I thought it was a date."

Justin and Selena have had an on and off relationship for several years, but have been spotted together regularly for the last few months. When asked what brought Justin back into her life, Selena told Billboard: "I'm 25. I'm not 18, or 19, or 20. I cherish people who have really impacted my life. So maybe before, it could have been forcing something that wasn't right. But that doesn't mean caring for someone ever goes away."

The pair were first spotted enjoying a meal together in October, with an onlooker telling People that the pair looked "cosy" while being "affectionate".

Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn

Taylor and British actor Joe have been photographed together, but neither have confirmed that they are in a relationship. However, fans have pointed out that Taylor appears to reference their relationship several times in her 2017 album, Reputation, including Call It What You Want.
