Kirsty Gallacher has confirmed that she only drinks water after beingbanned from driving for two years back in September after being found three times over the alcohol limit. Speaking to Lisa Snowdon about her health regime in a radio interview, the 42-year-old said: "One of them is to drinks tons of water. I don’t really drink anything else. I put lemon and ginger in my water quite a lot. It tastes great and is good for detoxing and cleansing, and also alkalises your system. "Kirsty pleaded guilty to a drink driving charge at Slough Magistrates' Court after she was pulled over at 11.30am while on her way to spend the day at Windsor Castle with her children.

The Sky Sports presenter also had to carry out 100 hours of community service, and was fined £85. At the time, her defence lawyer told the court: "This is extremely unusual for her. She is not someone who normally drinks to excess. She had no intention of drink-driving, what she did was exactly right until 11 o’clock in the morning. If she knew she was over the limit, she never would have driven and she is horrified she’s in this position. This is a young lady, it has been a stressful time."

Kirsty seems to have put the incident behind her, and regularly updates her Instagram with health and fitness posts. She recently shared a video of herself working out in the snow, and captioned the clip: "I know this seems madness but I had previously worked up a sweat in the gym.....so @meldeane12 thought this was a gd way of ending the session." She previously opened up to HELLO! about her workout regime, saying: "I always train in the morning, never in the evening really. I just feel good after it, it's sort of built in. I don't really think about it, it's just something I put in my diary, I'm doing it and that's it. I'm a working, single working mum – I'm on my own with two kids, I work a lot and I train a lot and do other stuff as well."
