Today is a special day for Reese Witherspoon, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Beverley Knight – it's their birthday! To mark their big day, we take a look at what these famous faces have been up to lately, and what has made their careers so successful.
Reese Witherspoon turns 42
Reese Witherspoon's 42nd birthday is likely to be a family affair for the mum-of-three, who has a daughter Ava, 18, and sons Deacon, 14, and five-year-old Tenessee. The Hollywood actress has had good reason to celebrate this year, with the release of her new film A Wrinkle in Time, and the news that the hit drama series she stars in – Big Little Lies – will be returning for a second season, with the addition of Meryl Streep. The blonde beauty recently enjoyed Mother's Day in London, twinning with Ava at the Tate gallery.

Andrew Lloyd Webber turns 70
Today is a big birthday for Andrew Lloyd Webber – he is turning 70! The legendary theatre composer is marking this milestone by releasing an album, Unmasked: The Platinum Collection, which celebrates some of his most iconic compositions, performed by stars such as Beyoncé, Madonna and Nicole Scherzinger. During a career spanning over five decades, he has created some of the most recognisable musicals of all time, including Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and Jesus Christ Superstar.
Beverley Knight turns 45
Soul singer Beverley Knight is celebrating her 45th birthday today! The Wolverhampton-born star has released several successful albums, as well as starring on the West End stage in The Bodyguard, a musical based on the 1992 Whitney Houston film. At the end of 2017, Beverley collaborated with fellow stage stars Cassidy Janson and Amber Riley to form The Leading Ladies and they released a show-tune album named Songs from the Stage. The past year has also had its challenges for Beverley – she underwent a hysterectomy after discovering benign tumours in her uterus in November last year. She has now made a full recovery, and told the Loose Women panel that "getting Amber and CJ next to me and creating a female supernova has restored my strength".
