Elton John turns 71
It's been a defining year so far for the singer, who recently announced that after a 50-year career, his latest tour with be his last. Elton revealed the news at an event in New York, saying: "It’s time to come off the road so I can fully embrace the next important chapter of my life. I need to dedicate more time to raising my children.”
The star certainly has lots to look forward to in the upcoming months, however; he looks set to attend Prince Harry and Meghan Markle royal wedding in May. His husband, David Furnish recently revealed to ET Canada that the pair haven’t received an official invitation just yet, but they have cleared their schedules just in case.
According to David, Elton hasn’t been asked to perform for the Prince and his bride-to-be, but said the star would definitely say yes if asked.
Sarah Jessica Parker turns 53
The last few months have been tough on the SATC star, after co- star Kim Cattrall accused her on social media of being a "hypocrite" and "cruel" for reaching out to her following her brother's unexpected death.
Despite this, we are sure that Sarah Jessica will have an unforgettable day with her husband, three children and her close friends, including her other co-stars.

The star has been inundated with messages of support from cast members of the hit show following Kim's comments, with SATC co-star Kristin Davis the latest friend to reach out to her. The actress, who plays Charlotte in the popular series, wrote on Instagram: “Off to school with cute Ebbitt. Am i spelling it right?@sarahjessicaparker collaborated with Gap Kids and my 6 year old is obsessed #sjpcollection #gapkids".
Aretha Franklin turns 76
Singer Aretha will most likely spend her birthday in the comfort of her own home, after being told by her doctor to cancel her upcoming concerts in order to rest. The star's management confirmed the news earlier this week, revealing: "Aretha Franklin has been ordered by her doctor to stay off the road and rest completely for at least the next two months. She is extremely disappointed she cannot perform at this year’s New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival as she had expected and hoped to."
