Ryan Reynolds has responded to reports that his marriage to Blake Lively is in trouble with his usual good humour. The Deadpool star addressed the rumours in a Twitter post on Tuesday as he made a joke about his mum, Tammy Reynolds. "We're never splitting," Ryan, 41, wrote. "She'll always be my mom. No matter how much jazz-cabbage she smokes with her rollerblading friends." The funny tweet, which quickly drew thousands of re-tweets and likes from Ryan's 10.4 million followers, came after Ryan made a public appearance with both Blake and Tammy on Monday, at the premiere of John Krasinski's new horror movie, A Quiet Place.

Just days earlier, Ryan used his signature wit to respond to an article that claimed he was struggling to find quality time to spend with his wife. Retweeting the article, he wrote alongside: "I wish. I could use a little 'me time'." Ryan and 30-year-old Blake have been happily married since September 2012, and are parents to two daughters – James, three, and Ines, 17 months.

The couple constantly tease one another on social media, whether cropping the other out of pictures or posting unflattering paparazzi shots. On Valentine's Day, the pair amused fans with their social media exchange, which began when Ryan teased that he was using the online dating website, E-Harmony. Blake responded: "Can you show me how to download that? Ever since Ashley Madison closed, I've been so lonely."
