Sacha Baron Cohen's wife Isla Fisher is just as famous as her husband! The actress has been married to Sacha since 2010, and the couple share three children together. Although they are private when it comes to their family life, they are occasionally seen out together on the red carpet at star-studded events. Just like her husband, Isla has enjoyed a lengthy career in the entertainment industry, having shot to fame in 1994 on Australian soap Home and Away, playing Shannon Reed. Her portrayal of Shannon in the famous soap - which also starred Margot Robbie - put her on the map.
Early life and career
You may be surprised to know that Isla’s parents are Scottish! The actress actually moved back to her hometown of Bathgate in Scotland when she was very small, before moving to Australia when she was six. Isla has spoken about her childhood Down Under, which she has described as outdoorsy, as she grew up in Perth. Australia is known for being particularly relaxed and Isla has remarked she has a "laid-back attitude" to life in general. Isla started acting at the age of nine, appearing in a number of television commercials, before going on to star in children’s television shows including Bay City and Paradise Beach. After Isla left Home and Away in 1997, she went to theatre school in Paris, before appearing in a pantomime in the UK. The theatre opened up doors for her as she then appeared in the stage show Summer Holiday with Darren Day.

Movie roles
One of her first films Isla starred in was the live action film Scooby Doo in 2001. Although Isla is renowned for her flame red hair, she actually had to wear a blonde wig for the role. Then came another high-profile part in Wedding Crashers, which she starred in with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson. A varied actress, she also appeared in Confessions of a Shopaholic and won praise for her portrayal of Rebecca Bloodwood in the novel by Sophie Kinsella – a British writer who is known for her chick-lit style. Now a doting mum, Isla – who also starred as Myrtle Wilson in The Great Gatsby – has a very different outlook on acting. She told omg! in 2013: "I'm very cautious about what I take, I don’t take the lead role – I'm never interested in being the lead role in anything. In the Great Gatsby I only worked for ten days."

Marriage to Sacha
Isla keeps very tight-lipped about her husband. She met the man behind Ail G in 2002 at a party and the pair began dating, before getting engaged in 2004. The pair married in a Jewish ceremony in Paris on 15 March 2010. They have three children – daughters Olive, 11, and Elula, ten, and a son called Montgomery, who is three. The family divide their time between London and LA. Isla converted to Judaism before she married Sacha, and prior to the wedding she said: "I will definitely have a Jewish wedding just to be with Sacha. I would do anything – move into any religion – to be united in marriage with him. We have a future together, and religion comes second to love as far as we are concerned."

Sacha has also had a huge influence on her career. She told The Examiner how her husband was the driving force behind her more comedic roles. "Sacha was the reason I got into comedy. I was actually auditioning for a lot of dramatic roles and having no success at all," she said. "I was losing confidence in my abilities when he recommended that I do comedy. He felt I was really funny, so when someone as funny as him recommends that, I listened and actually auditioned for Wedding Crashers, which ended up being my big break."
