Pippa Middleton may be nine months pregnant, but that didn't stop the mummy-to-be from attending the wedding of her good friend Princess Eugenie on Friday. Pippa looked glowing in a green, long-sleeved dress with a matching hat, and completed her autumnal look with a black clutch and high heels. Given the strong winds in Windsor, Pippa clutched her hat as she walked into St George's Chapel.
The columnist was joined by her husband James Matthews and her brother James Middleton. The trio will have been able to catch up with Prince William and Kate, who were also seated inside the quire of the chapel.
This is Pippa's second royal wedding of the year. She attended Prince Harry and Meghan's nuptials in May, when her pregnancy was not yet confirmed. Reports swirled that Pippa was expecting her first baby, as she was pictured with a very tiny baby bump. The couple's first child is due any day now.
Pippa has been keeping fans updated with her pregnancy in her fitness column for Waitrose, recently writing: "As the final month nears and the bump grows prouder each day, movement is certainly getting more awkward. As a result, one of the biggest changes is that my lower body has tightened up. The knock-on effect is making my back and sacrum both uncomfortable and achy."
She continued: "The transformations to my body that are taking place as it prepares for childbirth have meant that the sound sleeps and the baby bubble effect have gone. Reality is finally kicking in. Perhaps this is the body’s way of making sure that you get in tune with what lies ahead."
It is thought Pippa will give birth at the Lindo Wing, just like big sister the Duchess of Cambridge, who welcomed all three of her children at the private wing of the hospital in Paddington, London. And aside from the royally-approved Lindo Wing at St. Mary's, she may also be considering London's exclusive Portland Hospital, where the Duchess of York and Lady Sarah Chatto had their babies.
