Stacey Dooley has the loveliest dancer partner for the Strictly tour! The Strictly Come Dancing winner has been partnered with Aljaz Skorjanec due to Kevin Clifton's theatre commitments, and it looks like they are getting on like a house on fire. Aljaz even bought a very thoughtful gift for Stacey ahead of their intense dancing schedule, which she was very grateful for. Taking to Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Stacey shared a short video of Aljaz holding up a pair of dance shoes which he had picked out especially for the journalist. Showing her appreciation, Stacey can be heard saying: "Look what my angel, queen Aljaz just bought me." The pair also appear to be finding their height difference amusing. In another clip, Stacey joked: "We are having a lovely time. 5, 6, 7, 8, where is Aljaz? Got to find Aljaz," to which Aljaz, who was standing next to her, replied: "I'm just here."

Last week during their training, Stacey spoke to HELLO! about how happy she was with Kevin's replacement. "We've never danced before but we had a great time and Aljaz is a dream," she said. "He is very similar to Kevin in terms of his temperament – he's chilled and just wants to enjoy it with no pressure. I can't wait to get going." And while Kevin would love to be able to go on the tour as well, he was just as happy as Stacey was with Aljaz as the chosen replacement. In December, he told Radio Times that they were quite similar in their teaching style. "I think Aljaz is probably quite similar to me in terms of what I’m like to work with, neither of us are strict, we both prefer to have fun and encourage as opposed to being disciplinarian," he said.
