Eamonn Holmes took to Instagram on Sunday to share an adorable kissing photo with his wife Ruth Langsford – ahead of the pair's debut as hosts of This Morning's new Sunday show. "Darlin, wake up. Sunday @thismorning is on at 10.30," he captioned the shot, which showed Ruth planting a sweet peck on his head. Of course, the couple's loyal fans were quick to comment on the picture, with one writing: "I love this pic, so simple and so natural," and another adding: "Best couple ever. Authentic, funny, ace!"
The new weekend version of the show was aired for the first time ever on Sunday, with Eamonn and Ruth presenting a selection of the funniest, most moving and entertaining moments from the week. Host Phillip Schofield announced the new format, saying, "We have an exciting announcement to make for Sunday mornings, with a weekend episode of This Morning! Eamonn and Ruth will be taking you through the highlights from that week with some exclusive guests and lots of weekend treats thrown in for good measure."

The couple are certainly very busy at the moment, continuing to present their weekday slots on This Morning, as well as Sunday night's Do The Right Thing and Eamonn's Talk Radio show, which airs in the evenings from Monday to Thursday.
During Sunday's ITV show, the pair revealed that they usually have a pretty low-key weekend at home. The down-to-earth couple are just like the rest of us, and like nothing more than a lazy day catching up on household chores, with Eamonn walking the dog and cleaning his car, and even cooking Ruth breakfast in bed! "My wife is treated like a queen, she has breakfast in bed," he revealed.

Eamonn and Ruth enjoy a quiet life in Surrey when they aren't in London filming their various TV shows. Ruth previously told HELLO! that she enjoys living in a small town as she can just be herself. She said: "I can walk around the high street and I don’t have to have my makeup on and people see me in my gym kit and on the school run, so it’s nothing special to them. You don’t feel like you are in a goldfish bowl here."
