Holly Willoughby may be winning in her career, currently presenting This Morning and Dancing on Ice and having just won praise for her stint on I'm a Celebrity last year. The TV favourite is up for three awards at the National Television Awards on Tuesday, but like many, she's only human and, at the end of the day, has the same, very relatable fears as her fans. In October 2018, she opened up about just how important her family life is in an interview with Telegraph's Stella magazine. The mum-of-three - who has been married to TV producer Dan Baldwin since 2007 - revealed that putting her family first meant that she had to sacrifice her lifestyle brand Truly. She said: "You cannot have it all. Truly was something I was very passionate about, but my husband has a really high-pressured, busy job and I have three kids and other projects. My son Harry has really got into football and I want to be able to take him there so he can do what he loves."

The doting mum added: "I didn’t want to be in a position where I was working in the evenings and couldn’t be with them. It’s not just about me having my dream and everyone fitting round it, it’s about putting family first and making that choice. So in the end it was very clear, I just had to pull back and say: 'No.'" Holly also opened up about just how much her husband Dan means to her, and how devastated she would be if they were to ever break up. "‘If my career ended tomorrow, I know I would be absolutely OK,’ she said. "But if things went wrong between me and Dan it would be the end of my world." Holly and Dan met when Holly was a presenter on Ministry of Mahem, and although Dan keeps out of the public eye, he is very much a big name in the TV world, producing shows including Celebrity Juice, which Holly stars in as a team captain.

Holly is likely to take Dan to the National Television Awards on Tuesday, where she is up for three awards. Holly and Phil famously turned up drunk to present This Morning after celebrating too hard back in 2016, and the pair are up against each other this year as they compete with the likes of Ant and Dec for the Best TV Presenter award. At the beginning of the month, NTA host Dermot O'Leary teased the pair about it on This Morning, saying: "Holly and Phil are against each other in Best Presenter… this is Sharks and Jets territory this is very exciting… Why didn't you put yourselves together and do an Ant and Dec on this? So yeah you're up again each other." Holly and Phil pointed out that Ant and Dec always win the award, with Holly saying: "This is the Ant and Dec award, however."
