Jennifer Garner paid a very special trip to Oklahoma on Wednesday to see a patch of land where she grows produce for her Once Upon a Farm baby food brand at her family farm. The 13 Going on 30 actress had shared a photo of herself visiting the green space with her uncle Robert and her mum Patricia, on Instagram Stories. Jennifer has a close relationship with her mum, who grew up on a farm herself, and encouraged her children to do the same when they were younger. During an interview with People, Jennifer revealed: "My mum made all of our food. When we were hungry she would say, 'Go out to the garden, child, I bet those tomatoes are ready and grab yourself some sugar snap peas.'"

The star is incredibly passionate about making sure that children get a good start in life and often goes to visit the farms that grow the fruit and vegetables that are used in the brand's baby food sachets. During her visit to Oklahoma, she also shared a video of herself digging up a butternut squash that would be used for the newly-launched limited edition Stage 2 baby pouch from Once Upon a Farm and Row 7, called Farmer Jen and the Giant Squash. The star has previously explained: "As a mum of three and Save the Children artist ambassador, I am passionate about childhood nutrition and making sure we are leaving a healthier and happier planet for the next generation. Once Upon a Farm helps parents keep their promise to deliver the best nourishment for their children's bodies and souls."

Jennifer grew up in Charleston, West Virginia, with her parents and two sisters, Susannah and Melissa. The trio are incredibly close, and Susannah and Melissa were at the Hollywood Walk of Fame in August 2018 when Jennifer received her star on the famous landmark. The pair posed for pictures with their celebrity sister, along with their parents and Jennifer's three children – Violet, 14, Seraphina, eleven, and seven-year-old Samuel.

The mother-of-three has always been passionate about performing and attended the Denison University where she studied theatre – which led onto her big acting break. The actress has previously joked that her upbringing was "practically Amish" because her parents wouldn't allow her or her siblings to dye their hair, wear makeup or paint their nails when they were teenagers.
