The coronavirus pandemic has prompted plenty of social media trends, and people all over the web have been sharing baby photos and childhood photos of themselves during the past week as they self-isolate from home. That includes celebrities, and Céline Dion is the latest star to do it.
To celebrate turning 52 on March 30, her official Instagram account dropped an incredible picture of the superstar that looks like it was taken on a school picture day! It features the mom of three smiling confidently at the camera – while wearing a dress with a tartan ruffle and sporting some very long bangs! She looks very different from today!
"Happy Birthday, Celine! Wishing you health, love and happiness!" the post read.
Céline was recently in the middle of a world tour for Courage, her most recent studio album. But like most other artists around the world right now, she's had to postpone a good chunk of the dates.
The remainder of her North American leg of shows that were scheduled from March 24 to April 27 will be moved due to the coronavirus pandemic. To stop the spread of COVID-19, large gatherings of people are either being discouraged or have been outright banned by governments around the world right now, including Canada and the United States, where she was due to play. The rescheduled dates will be announced shortly. The affected shows include concerts in Vancouver, Edmonton, Saskatoon and Winnipeg, along with numerous dates in the United States.
Céline also came down with a cold earlier this month and had to postpone some dates because of it. She received a COVID-19 test, which thankfully came out negative.
