Kelly and Mark have always been a couple who have encouraged their kids to give back, working in partnership with AmazonSmile to fulfil charities' donation lists and telling their children to do the same.
But when the pandemic hit, they took it one step further, donating over £1million early on to help relief efforts.
Some of that money went directly to New York's coronavirus response and to buy extra ventilators, while another part of it went to an organisation which runs homeless shelters across the city.
In September, it was revealed that the pair's half-a-million dollars was being used to fund scholarships and computers for vulnerable students who are starting college this year.
"We are forever grateful to Kelly and Mark. Their support sends a powerful message to Win families: that their needs matter and" have not been forgotten." - Christine C. Quinn, President and CEO of homelessness charity Win
Christine C. Quinn, President and CEO of Win, the largest provider of shelter and services to homeless women and their children in New York City, opened up to HELLO! about how much Kelly and Mark's donation meant to her charity.
"Being a student in shelter is never easy - but the pandemic has made it that much more difficult, exacerbating the many challenges homeless students already face.
"On top of everything, our kids shouldn't have to worry about having the technology they need for remote learning - and thanks to Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos' generosity, they don't have to.
"Kelly and Mark have been incredible partners to us over the years, not only helping Win students through the darkest days of the pandemic, but also bringing joy to families by visiting Win shelters during the holidays.
"We are forever grateful to Kelly and Mark. Their support sends a powerful message to Win families: that their needs matter and have not been forgotten."
