Gabrielle Union shared the sweetest message for Dwyane Wade as he rang in his 39th birthday. The L.A.’s Finest star shared a video compilation of touching family moments that included the two of them dancing together, the former NBA star playing with their daughter Kaavia, 2, dancing with his daughter Zaya, 13, and posing with his son Zaire, 18.

“Happy Birthday baby. You make every day beautiful and fun and the way you protect our peace makes me swoon. I love loving you. 39,” she captioned the video Monday (we’re not crying, you’re crying).

The actress, 48, went on to give fans a glimpse inside D. Wade’s birthday celebration, which was held on a beach, complete with a bonfire and a performance by Beenie Man. “#birthdaybehavior,” Gabrielle captioned the photos. Dwyane posted a video of the festivities, writing, “feels like home. @kingbeenieman thank you for the love.”

For the celebration, Gabrielle wore an off-the-shoulder black bodysuit and printed black skirt, and the father of four rocked a printed kaftan and black pants. But it wasn’t those photos that made the most waves on his big day.

Instead, it was a snap Dwyane shared, which showed him striking a pose completely nude behind Gabrielle, who had on a white robe. “Birthday behavior!! 39 is already looking up,” he cheekily captioned it. Dwyane was covered up for the most part, but his kids still were not impressed when they saw the photo and had plenty of jokes to share in the comments.

“Thought I had more time before his midlife crisis,” Kaavia’s account (run by the couple) wrote. “This isn’t what I wanted to wake up to,” Zaire added. “Ayooooo chill, I just got on,” Zaya added.

It looks like the couple made the most of his birthday - and had plenty of fun while they were at it.
