Nikki, 37, confirmed that Artem had been "super strict" during rehearsals. "He kind of made a comment about my jive and got really mad at me," she said. "And I was like, 'You know what, dude? J. Lo and Beyoncé don't jive. I don't have time for this!'"

She continued: "I remember during dress rehearsals sometimes I'd be like, 'Is he mad at me?' It would make me feel really off. It would just be his tone. It was hard, it was hard on me a lot."

It comes after Nikki confirmed in November that she and Artem, 38, would be trying therapy together. "It's mainly just to be amazing parents and knowing how to balance parent life out and also our own relationship. Because Artem and I don't ever want to have a struggle. You know, we plan on being married," she revealed on The Tamron Hall Show.
The couple are proud parents to baby Matteo
Nikki was engaged to John Cena when she first met Artem on DWTS. Following her split from the former wrestler, Nikki and Artem reconnected, making their relationship official in July 2019.
The couple got engaged during a trip to France in November 2019, and on 31 July the following year, they welcomed a baby boy named Matteo - less than 24 hours after Nikki’s twin sister Brie welcomed her second child, son Buddy.
