Brooke Shields kicked off the weekend with a trip down memory lane, posting an epic throwback photo of herself on Friday.

The A-lister could be seen pulling a funny face in a wardrobe mirror as she captured a vintage-style selfie with a clunky film camera.
"Mirror selfie 80s style," Brook wrote beneath the image, in which she could be seen sporting bright red lipstick, a sharp white blazer and gorgeous oversized earrings.

It didn't take long for the 55-year-old's fans to rush to the comment section of her post to gush about the photograph. "Icon," wrote one social media user.

The famous mum often shares throwback photos taken throughout her iconic career with her fans, and dropped jaws when she ushered in the New Year with what might just be the most incredible celebrity throwback of all time.
Marking the beginning of 2021 with a photo of a New Year's Eve past, Brooke shared a series of pictures taken at New York's notorious Studio 54, and could be seen partying alongside the likes of Andy Warhol and Debbie Harry.

"#tbt Studio 54. Happy New Year’s Eve!" the model wrote alongside the snaps, leaving many of her Instagram followers in awe, including fellow model Helena Christensen, who wrote: "Ok that tops any New Year's Eve ever."
Sharon Stone, too, took to the comment section, writing: "We were there too."
One of Brooke's fans added: "I'm sure you could write a book about your adventures at Studio 54. You must have observed some wild things and met so many amazing people."
