Kate Hudson loves nothing more than being a doting mom to three children. And over the weekend, the Hollywood star received a sweet public message from her firstborn, Ryder, 17, on social media.

The teenager, who Kate shares with ex-husband Chris Robinson, had commented on the star's Instagram post dedicated to his younger sister Rani, two.
Kate had shared a series of photos of the pair of them to mark National Daughters Day, and Ryder commented: "Queen" alongside a love heart emoji and a red rose emoji.

Ryder and Kate have a close bond and the actress recently shared a sweet throwback photo of the pair of them behind-the-scenes on the set of Bridal Wars in 2009, which showed a then-young Ryder sitting under his mom's dress, looking adorable in dungarees.

"Always my baby @mr.ryderrobinson bridal wars bts," Kate wrote alongside the photo.
The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days star is also mom to ten-year-old son Bingham, who she shares with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy, and Rani, who she shares with fiancé Danny Fujikawa.

Danny popped the question to Kate earlier in the month, with the pair announcing the exciting news on Instagram ahead of the Met Gala.

All three of Kate's children will no doubt have special roles on her big day, although no further details have been given yet on the happy couple's wedding plans.

Kate and Danny first started going out together in 2016, although they'd known each other for much longer, having first met through mutual friends when Kate was 23.

Danny has a close bond with Kate's sons and the family all enjoyed a long vacation to Greece together over the summer.

Family is everything to Kate, who even lives in her former childhood home, where she grew up with mom Goldie Hawn, stepfather Kurt Russell and siblings Oliver Hudson, Wyatt Russell and Boston Russell.

The actress hasn't ruled out having another baby in the future either, previously revealing in an interview that she would like to give Danny a son.
