Britney Spears has spoken out against her family in a new Instagram post, claiming they failed to help her while she was under the conservatorship of her father Jamie Spears.

In a lengthy message, the pop sensation, 39, wrote that her relatives used her conservatorship as an excuse not to reach out to her.
The post, which took a swipe at her family members, was liked by Britney's sister Jamie Lynn Spears.

Alongside an artistic picture of one woman swimming to another, she wrote: "This picture is everything to me! It makes me want to cry… she's saving her divine feminine sister!"

Britney continued: "I suggest if you have a friend that's been in a house that feels really small for four months… no car… no phone… no door for privacy and they have to work around ten hours a day seven days a week and give tons of blood weekly with never a day off… I strongly suggest you go pick up your friend and get them the hell outta there!!"

Speaking about her family, the mom-of-two added: "If you're like my family who say things like 'Sorry you're in a conservatorship," probably thinking you're different so they can [expletive] with you!

Britney's family have not spoken out since the star's latest post, although her sister Jamie Lynn has previously voiced her support for her sister in a series of tearful videos in June 2020.

At the time, the actress said: "If ending the conservatorship… or whatever the hell else she wants to do be happy, I support that."

The Toxic hitmaker's fiancé Sam Asghari popped the question to the star in September, following five years of dating.
