In August Lara shared pictures of the Dallas college's campus as she dropped her 19-year-old son off, marking a big milestone moment for the family.
Posting rare pictures of her children - who have asked not to be shared on her social media - Lara explained the snaps, revealing that they had enjoyed a "family dinner at the wonderful Javier's on our first night at school" before "exploring the new stomping grounds".

She also shared pictures of her son "setting up the new digs (complete w under-bed man cave and sister making sure the bed is cozy enough)" before he jumped "right into a pickup basketball game".
She finished by admitting: "Yes there were tears, but also such pride and happiness seeing HIM so happy and knowing he is now part of such an incredible community."
However Lara hasn't been separated from her son for too long as in mid-September, she revealed that she had visited Duff in Dallas for Parents Weekend.

She shared a snap of herself hugging her son as they happily smiled, writing: "Loved being with Duff for his first college Parents Weekend. Now I have to wait until Thanksgiving?? "
It's clear the teen decided to make a brief stop before Thanksgiving though, to spend time with his mom, Riva and younger sister Katharine.
