Robin Roberts has had an incredible career as a journalist so it comes as no surprise that she has been recognised in a powerful new book.

The Good Morning America star was delighted on Tuesday's show after discovering that she was featured in Oprah's new children's book, I am Oprah Winfrey.
Robin featured on one of the pages among Gwen Ifill, Carole Simpson and Michelle Norris, illustrated in a vibrant orange dress.

"Everyone has a story to tell, you do too, when you share your story with others you are not alone," the book reads.

"I am honored to be in that group," Robin exclaimed as she held her hand to her chest, clearly overwhelmed, as her co-star Lara Spencer showed her the page she featured on.
The TV star shared footage of the moment she saw the book for the first time on Instagram too, alongside the caption: "Honored to be included in this group."

Fans were quick to comment on the news, with one writing: "Congratulations Robin.

As well as hosting GMA, where she has been working since 1983, Robin is an in-demand star, and her talents extend far beyond presenting too.

The journalist is an established author as well as a producer, and has her own production company, Rock'n Robin Productions.

Most recently, the star produced the Lifetime Original Movie, Robin Roberts Presents: "Mahalia, which was released at the beginning of April, and follows the incredible life of singer Mahalia Jackson.

Robin produced the movie with Linda Berman, through Rock'n Robin Productions and Lincoln Square Productions. This was even nominated for an Emmy, under the category "Outstanding Television Movie".

As well as an incredible career, Robin has an idyllic personal life too. The TV star has been going out with partner Amber Laign for over a decade, and the pair have a gorgeous home in Connecticut.
