The star was at her Encino, California, home with her two children, Phoenix, seven, and five-year-old daughter Jagger, when three men broke into her home and held her in her bedroom.

The LAPD confirmed the home invasion robbery took place at 10:50 p.m. and involved three male suspects who took an unknown amount of property including handbags and jewellery.

No arrests have been made.

The Daily Mail first reported the news and claimed the men broke in by smashing through the children’s classroom door. The 45-year-old was woken by two of the suspects who walked into her bedroom.

"Don’t hurt my babies. Don’t kill me," she allegedly begged, adding: "I'm a mother." One of the men is said to have replied: "Kill her."

The invasion reportedly lasted around 20 minutes.

Dorit had returned that night from London where her husband Paul “PK” Kemsley remained; he is now on his way back to the city. They had been in the UK for her nephew's wedding.

The reality star joined the Bravo series - which is set to start filming on Thursday - in 2016 a year after moving to Los Angeles. She had found fame as the founder of swimwear brand The Dorit International which offers high-quality, comfortable and fashionable bathing suits.

In 2017, she launched Beverly Beach, an affordable swimwear line and in 2019 they expanded to include athletic-wear and other accessories.

The farmhouse-style mansion home was put on the market in September a year after they purchased the property. They listed the 901-square-foot property for almost $9.5 million.

It has six bedrooms, and 10 bathrooms and features light hardwood floor throughout, floor-to-ceiling windows, a gourmet kitchen, and a fenced yard with a pool, cabana, and basketball court.
