Julianne Hough has been inundated with support after she shared an emotional message with fans reminding them to "connect to their emotions".

The actress and dancer took to social media to share the inspiring post which was a letter to her younger self. "I would tell my younger self to make sure I always come back to the why… success without fulfillment is ultimately meaningless," she wrote.

"Sometimes we get so caught up in trying to achieve the next goal, we can get burned out or lose sight and appreciation for our craft. Remember why you started in the first place!
"Connect to those emotions. Joy, happiness, expression, freedom, ALIVE… and let THAT fuel you, the pursuit of fulfillment vs success!"

The post was shared alongside a picture of the star rocking a pair of white jeans and a green chambray shirt, with a Lack of Color hat and her gorgeous brunette locks tousled for a relaxed fall vibe.
"Thank you for being so inspiring!" shared one thankful fan, as another commented how they "needed to see this today".
Julianne shared this gorgeous snap with her sisters
The 33-year-old is a big fan of an inspiring quote, and recently praised her family for helping her to learn every day. "What are three things you are grateful for today?" she captioned a post of her with her three sisters Marabeth, Sharee, and Katherine, as they stood underneath a pier on a sandy beach.
"This is one of the most powerful questions I ask myself as I start each day. Gratitude has the power to shift our mindset, which changes everything.
"It brings me perspective and inspires a mindset that anything is possible." She added: "I have so much gratitude for my sisters and the lessons they teach me through their lived experience."
The star also has an older brother, TV personality and DWTS judge Derek Hough.
