Jenna Bush Hager was left overwhelmed on Wednesday when Bono surprised her with a live marching band and a pint of Guinness.

The 39-year-old was joined on the Today Show by the U2 frontman to discuss his new film Sing 2 and when U2 may head back into the studio for a new album.

But as they wandered through Central Park, the Irish star revealed a big birthday surprise for Jenna
"I had a dream…it was a beautiful day. Thanks to everyone who made this happen. Bono I love you," Jenna captioned the video which caught her major surprise as they made a detour.

"Can we get a pint?" Bono asked her as they approached the restaurant Tavern on the Green, before music began playing from the Susan E. Wagner High School band.
"Wait, what is happening here?" Jenna asked, to which Bono replied: "Happy birthday, babe!"
Bono surprised Jenna with the birthday surprise
"Stop it!" she laughed. "Are you kidding me? You have got to be kidding me. Thank you! I’m freaking out."
Bono then treated her to a pint of Guinness and a cake in the shape of a Guinness pint.
"Fantastic!! Happy beautiful birthday," commented one fan as another shared: "The best for the best!"
Jenna was overwhelmed
"Happy Birthday JB! Loved watching the show today and all the special wishes and guests that came to NYC to celebrate you!" added another.
Jenna's big day is 25 November.
She also got very teary-eyed when her co-stars surprised her with a sweet video message from her parents, former President George W. Bush and former first lady Laura Bush.
Jenna also broke down in tear when her mom and dad sent in a video message
"Jen, 40 years seems like an old age but it turns out it's not. You're going great. Laura and I love you. We're very proud of you. And we wish you and your sweet sissy Barbara a happy birthday," George said.
Laura added: "Hey, Jenna. Forty years ago today, your dad and I were thrilled to welcome two baby girls to the world. You and Barbara made us happy every day since.
"Happy birthday to you. We’re so so proud of you. Love you."
