While Amy and Andrew, who wed in 2010, don't have any children together, they share five between them. The family are incredibly close and the celebrity couple have even written their debut book, Better Together, to help inspire other blended families.

They recently enjoyed a fun-filled family Thanksgiving surrounded by loved ones and that included both of Amy's daughters, Annie, 15, and Ava, 18, who rarely appear on her pages.

However the mom-of-two shared several photos of their time at their home in the Hudson Valley and one, in particular, stood out as the threesome were joined by Andrew, and a host of other friends as they enjoyed a weekend away and some time off.

The time off was much needed for Amy, who recently returned from Antarctica where she marked an incredible milestone of visiting six of the planet's continents.

She shared a picture of herself touching the icy continent's mainland while on assignment, holding on to an icy patch of land in the daring picture.

In the caption, she wrote: "Snowy, icy conditions were too extreme to make landfall today… so we touched the mainland to make it official: My 6th continent [check emoji].

"Australia I'm coming for you next [heart emoji] Stay tuned to @goodmorningamerica to hopefully see us make an ice field landing and walk onto Antarctica."
