The Marvel actors have been friends for years with rumors of romance flying for the same amount of time, but in August 2021 pictures showed the pair passionately kissing in Tom's car while at red traffic lights. They have since walked the red carpets for their new film arm in arm.

"One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn't really in our control anymore, and a moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world," Tom has previously shared.

"We sort of felt robbed of our privacy. I don't think it's about not being ready. It's just that we didn't want to," he added.

Speaking to GQ, Zendaya added that the pair both believe that "when you really love and care about somebody, some moments or things, you wish were your own".

In September, Tom shared a birthday tribute to the Emmy-winning actress and called her "my MJ".

The pair reunite on screen for the third Spider-Man film featuring Tom as Peter Parker and Zendaya as MJ. The film picks up from the final moments of the second film Far From Home, with Peter's identity exposed to the world while also being accused of the murder of Mysterio.

The trailer reveals that Peter goes to Dr Strange for help after his life is ruined by his secret being exposed, and Dr Strange agrees to help him before accidentally opening the multiverse.
