Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are consistently called two of the most generous people in show business, and have shown a commitment to giving back throughout their careers. They made a donation after Jordan Davies, a Wrexham A.F.C. player, and his girlfriend, Kelsey Edwards, who recently went through a devastating experience.

Jordan and Kelsey had been expecting a baby, but heartbreakingly, their son Arthur Andrew Davies was stillborn last month.
Ryan and his friend Rob McElhenney are the co-owners of Wrexham A.F.C., a Welsh football club they bought in 2020.
To support Jordan and Kelsey, Ryan, Blake, Rob and his wife, actress Kaitlin Olson, made a donation of £10,000 (about CA$17,300) through a GoFundMe page Kelsey set up been set up to give to Sands in Arthur's memory. Sands, an acronym for Stillbirth & Neonatal Death Society, helps people going through this heartwrenching experience, and Kelsey said the organization had been incredible with the care they'd received.
"The midwives provided around the clock care and made sure we were comfortable and they really couldn't do enough for us," Kaitlyn wrote on the page. "We were given the time we needed with our boy and were supported throughout. They also provided us with a memory box with things to cherish forever!"
Of course, this isn't the first time Ryan and Blake have done something generous recently.
Last August, they made a US$10,000 donation to Hope for Haiti to help those affected by the deadly earthquake that rocked the Caribbean nation that month. The couple have also consistently given to food banks during the coronavirus pandemic, giving US$1 million to organizations including Food Banks Canada in early 2021. They also donated CA$250,000 to the Calgary-based Influence Mentoring Society, program that helps Indigenous students in post-secondary institutions.
The year before, Ryan also used part of his salary on Red Notice to hire BIPOC crew members in Vancouver.
We're happy to see Ryan and Blake making this bit of difference and giving back to Sands!
