Jamie Lynn Spears sat down with Good Morning America anchor Juju Chang to discuss her relationship with her sister, Britney Spears.

In an exclusive interview, the Sweet Magnolias star was overcome with emotion as she opened up about her famous sibling.
Describing their relationship as "complicated", the 30-year-old teared up as she told Juju: "That love is still there, I love my sister." The news anchor then replied: "But things have gotten complicated," to which Jamie responded: "I guess so."

The younger Spears even opened up for the first time about providing her sister with resources to end the conservatorship earlier on, saying: "I am my sister's biggest supporter. So when she needed help, I set up ways to do so. Made sure that she had the contacts she needed to possibly end this conservatorship.
"I even spoke to her [previous] legal team, and that did not end well in my favor. So I did take the steps, but how many times can I...well, she has to walk through the door."
Britney spoke out shortly after her 13-year conservatorship ended, when she said: "My whole family did nothing".

Last year, Jamie posted a now-deleted video in support of the Toxic hitmaker, where she said she has "only loved, adored and supported my sister".
She said: "I don't care if she wants to run away to a rainforest and have zillion babies in the middle of nowhere, or if she wants to come back and dominate the world the way she has so many times before…

"Because I have nothing to gain or lose either way. This situation does not affect me either way, because I'm only her sister who's only concerned about her happiness."

While Britney and Jamie haven't been pictured together in public for some years, the actress has occasionally 'liked' posts from her older sibling's Instagram page.

However, in January, it was apparent that the pop sensation had unfollowed Jamie on Instagram.
The star hasn't made any reference to her TV interview on social media yet, but most recently posted a selfie of herself ahead of the release of her book, Things I Should Have Said, that hits the shelves next week.
