The actress delighted fans with a never-before-seen throwback, which sees her as a baby in the beaches of Hawai'i with her mom.

Though she famously hails from Australia, she was actually born in Honolulu while her parents – her mom being a nursing instructor and her dad, Antony Kidman, a biochemist and psychologist – were living temporarily in the US.

The image proves just where the Being the Ricardos actress gets her stunning looks and iconic red hair from.

In it, Janelle appears sitting on a white sand beach, with palm trees towering over her, clad in a brown and blue bikini, and a straw hat. She's holding baby Nicole, whose red locks are already starting to grow.

The doting mom captioned the heartfelt tribute with: "Reminiscing… wonderful memories with my mumma back in #Hawaii. Happy Mother's Day mumma, and to all the mothers in the world… Happy #MothersDay."
