Eamonn Holmes donned his dapper attire as he stepped out to enjoy a day at the races at Royal Ascot on Wednesday.

Taking to his Instagram account, the broadcast journalist posted an upbeat picture at the Berkshire racecourse. He opted for a dark grey suit, a shimmery champagne tie and a light grey top hat.

He finished off his suave get-up with a pair of gold-rimmed aviator sunglasses. Eamonn was joined by his co-host Isabel Webster who looked sensational in a figure-hugging neon pink dress with she paired with a matching feathered hat.

He captioned the post: "Just wanna say Isabel reassures me she did have a lovely day out with me at Royal Ascot. She just forgot to let her face know it!"

His fans inundated the comments section with plenty of praise, with one adding: "Top lad, top class, top hat."
Another added: "Looking sharp Mr Holmes".
A third remarked: "Looking 10 years younger Mr Holmes".
Eamonn's upbeat post comes in the wake of his recent back complications which have been wreaking havoc on the presenter's health. Returning to the GB News sofa on Monday, the 62-year-old explained how he's been off work since early June after undergoing an "unexpected hospital treatment."

In his first column for The Express, the star detailed how he'd ended up in hospital "after waking up in the middle of the night suffering excruciating pain."
He went on to explain that the pain was caused by two prolapsed discs in his back. The presenter underwent an MRI scan before then being referred for an emergency operation.
Earlier this year, he admitted that the consequences of living with a trapped sciatic nerve have been "emasculating" as he's had to sell his car and can't even put his own shoes and socks on because he can no longer bend down.
