Kelly Clarkson has had a long, varied, and successful career, from singing to talk show hosting, and though many have inspired her along the way, she has no doubt in her mind that there is one person she owes her career to.

The star not only revealed the person near her heart, but proved just how loyal she is to those who helped her achieve success.
She revealed that her music partner, Jason Halbert, has been with her through it all, from her American Idol days to now her role on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Kelly gave him a heartfelt shout-out on her show, explaining just how much he means to her.
Jason is currently a part of her band on the show, and when guest Randy Jackson said just how good they were, the singer revealed the truth about "the man behind that keyboard."
She explained: "I don't know if anybody knows this… The reason why, this is not a lie, I'm not being nice, it's just true… My career exists, the reason why I've had longevity is the man behind that keyboard right there, his name is Jason Halbert."
The heartfelt revelation
Jason proudly stood behind his keyboard as the audience and Kelly gave him a well-deserved round of applause, and Kelly had even more to say.

"And wait, this is the best part, Jason was actually hired by Randy Jackson to be in my band…" Randy, who was sitting next to her, was a judge on American Idol when Kelly participated.

She even confessed: "Actually, he was hired for Justin but I stole him…" though the move seems to have been certainly worth it!
Fans were quick to commend the songstress over keeping those who matter close, writing: "So true! The two of them are pure magic!" and: "I love this. We are so proud. Best band ever. Go Jason," as well as: "Kelly is awesome and you are down to earth. You always tell us the truth."
