Jennifer Lopez's two twins, Max and Emme, sure are growing up, and their mom isn't afraid to embrace that!

The star stopped by Live! With Kelly and Ryan, and it didn't take long for Kelly Ripa to ask her about her kids.
Neither of the women could believe just how grown up the twins are, and the morning show host joked she needed a refresher on what that age was like.

As she asked the singer to explain what the mindset of a thirteen year old is like these days, the mom-of-two was quick to marvel at how amazing her twins are and how they've changed over the years.
"Now they're adults," she explained, admiring they're growth, and going on to say: "They're like little adults and they have their own lives and they have all their own ideas about the world already."
She then joked about how bold and confident they've become with everything they learn, saying in a sarcastic tone: "They love to show you that they know things…"

Unfamiliar as it might feel for your young kids to be the ones teaching the parents, when Ryan asked her if she let them get away with that, J.Lo relented, admitting: "I do."

She maintained: "I feel like I learn so much from them and they keep me so abreast with the world and what's happening now and how kids are thinking."

The Marry Me actress continued to express disbelief over how much both her kids and what they care about and know has changed, stating: "It's a whole different thing, it's a whole different mindset, a different world."
Still, she was palpably proud of Emme and Max, and detailed that: "They've transitioned from being babies into being conscious of what's going on. There's a lot going on with them," to which Kelly extended sympathy, expressing how much she related to seeing your kids grow and change before your eyes.
