Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has been sunning herself around Europe this summer, but on Wednesday, the star traded the Mediterranean for a spot of cold water swimming in the UK.

Taking to Instagram, the mum-of-two treated her fans to a glimpse inside her impressive morning routine. Posting a photo on her Stories, Amanda could be seen walking out of the sea as she braved the chilly waters next to her beloved mum, Judith.

In lieu of a wetsuit, the 51-year-old slipped into a chic striped two-piece featuring a long-sleeved top, and a pair of bikini bottoms. She completed her beach look with a pair of sunglasses and styled her blonde tresses into a high bun for a relaxed look.

Judith, meanwhile, styled it out in a full-length wetsuit to protect herself from the numbing seawater. She wore her damp hair loose, with the ends forming into wavy curls thanks to the salty sea.
The mother-daughter duo made a splash
Amanda captioned her sweet post: "Cold water swim with mum."
The star's heartwarming snaps come after she enjoyed a luxurious trip to Italy alongside her lookalike daughters, Lexi, 16, and Hollie, ten.
The beautiful trio were captured posing at a lavish dinner table whilst holidaying in Capri - and could easily pass for triplets! Oldest daughter Lexi looked fabulous in a lemon-yellow camisole, whilst youngest Hollie rocked a sweet white lace dress.
The family jetted off to sunny Italy
The doting mum captioned her photo: "My girls. [camera emoji] by my love #capri."
Her fans flooded the comment section with an array of compliments, with one fan writing: "Beautiful girlies and mamma," whilst another penned: "Your daughters are absolutely gorgeous."
Judith shares a close bond with her granddaughters
"Anyone else seeing triple?" wrote a third, whilst a fourth added: "A beautiful moment making memories."
The Heart Radio host shares her two daughters with record producer husband Chris Hughes. The couple met in Los Angeles back in 2003, and started dating a year later. The lovebirds then tied the knot in December 2008, with their nearly two-year-old daughter Lexi in attendance.
