Since the Queen's passing on 8 September, celebrities and dignitaries alike all over the world have taken to social media and beyond to pay their respects to the royal family, and share their stories of meeting Her Majesty.

Drew Barrymore is the latest to do so, though her story is about the new head of state, King Charles III.
The star met the new King when premiering her remake of Charlie's Angels in London, back in November of 2000, and she let fans know of a little mishap she accidentally had!

Speaking on The Drew Barrymore Show with Hillary Clinton and her daughter, Chelsea Clinton, who are promoting their own new show, Gutsy, the three women recalled their meetings with the royals.
Drew revealed: "I had a dinner with who is now King Charles, and it was so fun! A lot of mayhem ensued."
Recalling said mayhem, the star shared a photo of herself in which the King is standing in between actress Lucy Liu and the daytime host, and Drew, in an attempt to apparently hug His Majesty, accidentally placed her hand over her co-star's breast area instead.
The King appears unfazed by the mishap
"I didn't mean to!" she exclaimed, adding that: "There's other pictures of him laughing hysterically, he's so funny," going on to ask the former Secretary of State about her own experience meeting him.

Adding to the rare insight into his off-camera personality, she said: "I like him! I mean you're describing him."

She explained: "He is fun, and funny, and yet at the same time serious about a lot of important things, like climate change and the environment."
Speaking of what his reign might look like, she also said: "Now as the King he doesn't run the government, but I think if he uses his voice and talks about why it's important, it could have a positive impact," after which she received a round of applause from the audience.
