Her last time on the show was quite successful, winning the competition series with team member Carter Rubin in 2020.
However, she recently revealed that it isn't the judging or her mentor skills that were making her nervous, but the reason was actually her own husband, Blake Shelton.

The couple met on the show back in 2014, and started dating after bonding over their recent divorces. They eventually got married in the country star's Oklahoma ranch in July of 2021, meaning the two haven't been together on the show since their nuptials.
Speaking with E! News, Gwen confessed: "I was really nervous to come back this season, being married to Blake. I don't know why."
She explained: "It'd just been a while and I didn't know what we were gonna act like."
The show definitely holds a special place in the couple's hearts
However, now that the new season has finally premiered, on Monday, 19 September, she maintained that sharing screen time with him came as naturally as it was almost three years ago.
