Amy Robach, 49, had plenty to smile about on Sunday as she completed the Chicago Marathon with a stellar race time.

The Good Morning America co-anchor took to social media to share a series of highlights documenting her milestone achievement. In one joyful snap, a radiant-looking Amy beamed for a celebratory selfie with her enormous marathon medal.

The-mom-of-two moreover included a snippet of her running data, proudly sharing her final race time of 4:17:36. Alongside the slew of pictures, Amy gushed: "Marathon number three with my best girl... can't imagine crossing a finish line without you @nikespina... @nycmarathon here we come."

Amy's fans flocked to the comment to heap praise on the star, with one writing: "Awwwwwww congratulations sweet Amy, what an accomplishment," whilst a second penned: "Looks like you had a great race! Congrats on picking up another World Major star!"

"Congrats on an epic finish!! I think I saw you and cheered for you!!" wrote a third, and a fourth noted: "Way to gooo Amy!! I was following the marathon app and rooting for all you".
Amy's incredible feat comes after she paid tribute to her two daughters, Ava and Annie. In honour of National Daughter's Day, Amy posted a family photo alongside her lookalike mom, Joanie.
"Happy National Daughters Day, to the loves of my life," Amy wrote alongside the image.

The TV star shares her children with ex-husband Tim McIntosh. She went on to marry actor Andrew Shue, and is stepmom to his three sons.
Amy and her husband are slowly becoming empty nesters now that their children are finding their feet in the real world.
Amy paid tribute to her two daughters
The star's oldest daughter Ava left home last September to attend university, and she recently admitted that they are now getting used to doing family traditions without any of the children.
The couple have a strong family unit and wrote a book about the challenges of having a blended family last year.
Amy and Andrew's debut children's book, Better Together, was inspired by the made-up stories about animals in the garden that they used to tell their children as a way of helping them to settle into their new family unit.
