Kelly opened up more about the process of moving on from someone you love during Thursday's episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, in a candid conversation with Khloé Kardashian.
The reality television star has had her fair share of ups and downs in her love life, particularly with Tristan Thompson, and so the host began her question about moving on with: "You share this season that you are training yourself to 'unlove' your ex…"
Then the singer joked that there might be an ulterior motive to her asking, cheekily saying: "How do you do that? Asking for a friend…" and after the two engaged in laughter, she added: "I don't know, do we have any paper or pens?"
The former couple started dating in 2011 and became engaged a year later
Before Khloé could get to her answer, she was quick to sympathize with her over the process as she revealed: "It's hard! I think it's the most ridiculous thing sometimes."

In turn, the fellow mom-of-two had some sound advice, telling her: "We all change and evolve where, you know, sometimes that's not… it's just not a right fit for you," which Kelly wholeheartedly agreed with.
